Mary Birchard is an artist that studied under Johannes von Gumppenberg at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Mi. She taught Art and Spanish in the Lakeview School District, Battle Creek, MI. for 35 yrs. She is currently retired and has returned to painting and drawing in oils and pastels. She lives in Battle Creek, Mi.
